This is the poster I will be using for the inspiration of my own. I have chosen this one in particular as the images are the same and also the narratives of the films are similar.

 After taking all pieces of feedback and interpreting it into the design of the magazine I have finally completed it.

I am currently adding the final clips and adjustments for my trailer. This includes sound, production company logo and the closing scenes of the trailer.

After making the recent changes to my magazine I received some final feedback. The changes which were suggested were to make make the top banner in line with the text on the magazine, to make the main image bigger, to add more to the main story and to add some colour on the bottom text. These were all changes I have made to create my final piece.

Another change which was suggested was to add more features on the front of the magazine I feel this would look over crowded.

I decided to make a tweet creating some feedback about the most recent version of my magazine. Here are the responses I got about the changes I should make. 

Another comment I also received was that some of the fonts on the front of the magazine looked 'Cartoon' lik, this is another change I will make on my magazine.

Research and Planning: Magazine Inspirations

I have chosen this magazine as an inspiration for my own as I feel it resembles the kind of magazine I wish to create. It has a simple look to it but the colour scheme allows the features to be seen clearly and boldly. The image also is very simple but allows the audience to get a feel for what the article could be about. 

Research and Planning: Magazine Progress

I have decided to make some changes on my film magazine after getting some feedback about the fonts and colours. I am now going to make the title of the magazine white and my main colours will be black, white and red. I am going to do some more audience feedback on the underlines above and below the magazines title as I am still unsure as to whether I am going to keep them. The feedback will also help me in the positioning of the image and text on the magazines cover. Once making these changes I will then add the remaining text to the magazine and gain a final feedback from the audience on the finished product of my magazine. This will also help me when writing my evaluation.

Research and Planning: Film Magazine Features

After doing some research into film magazines I have found that most of them feature a top 'heading' or 'tagline' of some sort. I am going to include this style on my own magazine and also 3 different colours (typically white, black and a deep shade of red) to make the important headings and certain words stand out. I have begun to create my magazine using photoshop. This is the image I have selected will be the main focus of my magazine and represents the base of the films plot as well as giving an insight into one of the main characters. I will be publishing my progress throughout the creation of my magazine and showing the stages at which it is currently at.

Research and Planning: Production Company Logo

I have chosen this as the company logo as I feel this was the best representation out of all the logos I created. The font chosen represents the 'Platinum' side of the name and also that our film is a 'classical' war style film. The colours also reinforce the genre which is romance. I also feel without the outline of the 'house' the logo would have no features and would have looked too plain and not like a logo at all. This is the one I will be placing into the trailer.

I have now begun to add and create the sound for my trailer.

Moderator Note

Due to creative differences within our group we have decided to take the trailer in different directions. I will be taking over sound and editing and completing the trailer in my own way. Above you will find posts relating to sound of my own and how it was created, the progress of editing and the process of my trailer being completed.

Having added more of our footage into our trailer it is almost complete. The final pieces will be added and then Nasrin will be able to add her sound pieces and the final cut will be created (including editing transitions and minor cuts) and uploaded.
